That was weird, what movie did you watch that gave you the big maps idea?
Well, nothing in particular. I think I had a Bond film or Outbreak in mind. In the 60\'s & 70\'s they always had movies with the giant map. And you could tell they built it just for that film. I always wondered a) where the hell they got them from, and b) if it was custom made for the film\'s particular scenario, what it the situation changed? It really made me laugh, so I thought a sketch or 2 were in order. As for the \'Forester Herb\' bit, I was looking for OTR over at archive.org, and I kept seeing episode descriptions of a rather odd christian radio show called \'Ranger Bill\'. Knowing nothing about the show, the synopsis\' made the series sound like it was assembelled by madmen. So I basically copied the text and punched it up a bit. I was howling with laughter while I was writing and recording it. When the show was done I liked it a lot but I also regognize it was very much for me. I may have thrown the audience off on this one.
