Comedic ramblings for a confused generation (not this one, the previous one. Geez.)
Feb 23, 2009
Some late gratefulness - Thanks, Cayenne, for keeping the faith with the listeners for all this time. I don\'t think I\'m the only one who\'s awestruck by your ability and your work ethic, and the consistency and brilliance with which you entertain.
And I\'m totally psyched for the new season - I can\'t believe it\'s almost here! Congratulations on 4 years!
Congratulations on four years. The new intro music is excellent.
Thanks y\'all. The new season will awesome on you.
Good to hear TekDiff again. I first heard about your podcast from net@night and preceded to listen to every episode over my Christmas break. It was a lot of work. Many many hours went into it and it still makes me laugh as much as the first time I listened.
I enjoyed this episode and can\'t wait until the new season.
By the way if I DID get my time back from making/ maintaining the forums I assure you I\'d make one for some other semi obscure minneapolis podcast.
What?! March 6th?! That means I only have 9 more days of vacation! I better update the character list. Well, it was nice while it lasted. Slackers unite! Welcome back, Mr. C.
And Another THing - Following on with what Faux_Pseudo said, why don\'t you create mini site or something like a portfolio of your work on tekdiff. It can contain just single sketches but some of the favourites of yours or o listeners. Perhaps that might be a bit hard to set up what with everything else you\'re doing, but i think this might be a good idea.
Mkaes it easier for us to display to our friends the podcast, such as - \"check out this, if you like these sketches you\'ll like the show\", and that\'ll help heighten popularity (if you want that). Maybe this will be a while in the making but i think it is a good idea to get the show more out there. We can help, in anyway you want!
Anyhow, that\'s just my two cents, have a think about it.
Congrats and the forums are now a mere 1 year old too. as my anny gift for 3 years well I got you nothing for the 4 year anniversary but my everlasting respect.
Congratulations On 4 Years! Though I Think The Larger Celebration will be when you start up the 1st \"series.\" Hey cayenne, given that you complain about how lazy you are and never get around to doing anything..i was wondering...How long did it take you to start up the podcast? I mean it turned into a pretty big thing, though you may not have realised that at the time. But hearing what i\'ve heard about your amazing skills of procrastination, it must have taken a while.
Anyway, keep up the great work, i\'ve will always be following, waiting for any sporadic updates, and yeah...Have fun!
(also posted on the forums, if anyone actually looks there)
I am so glad to see this post. I keep fearing that this planned lull in content is going to turn into no new content. I found your show ~1 year ago. Since then I load up my mp3 player with a gig of pods each week and if there is any left over room I fill up the rest of the gig with a few TekDiff shows.
Ever since Phil Hendrie left the air and LOC Network cut back on character bits I have been looking for some audio that can keep my brain busy on battle field that is the middle ground between insane time waster and thought provoking. While your show may inspire more \"WTF?\" moments than \"IWYDT\" moments it is still fun.
I haven\'t posted before but I keep feeling the need to do that so this post of yours was the perfect time to let you know that I love what you are doing.
Once in a while I share some of the bits with others. The other week I listened to the Fan Fic Con bit which was a good stand alone piece. I had to share it with my roommate who laughed very hard.
How about some best of stuff to hold us over till the new stuff comes out?
Audio comedy, odd music, low-brow shenanigans.
